Information You Send
Search-form entries such as a name, phone number, or address are sent to the third-party provider that supplies results. Clark County Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those search entries on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the information in your message and use it to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Our host may create routine server logs containing an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We review aggregate activity to maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies or comparable technology may support basic analytics or advertising measurement where used.
How Information Is Used
Message content is used to answer the sender. Technical data is used to operate, protect, diagnose, and improve the service. We do not sell a visitor’s direct contact information. Search providers and outside websites process information under their own notices and terms.
External Websites
Links lead to Clark County, Nevada, court, library, archive, and other outside resources. Their privacy practices are their own. Review the policy of the office or service you visit, especially before submitting a record request or search information.
When Data May Be Shared
Information may be disclosed when required by law, needed to protect the service or its users, or supplied to a vendor that helps operate the service under appropriate obligations. We do not provide visitor search entries to government records custodians merely because a visitor used this reference.
Safeguarding Information
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures for information we control. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, so avoid sending sensitive personal information through a general contact message. Direct a record request to the responsible custodian’s approved method instead.
Visitors Under 18
Clark County Residents Directory is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us to request review and deletion where applicable.
Your Privacy Choices
You may ask about personal information contained in a message you sent to us, or ask that it be corrected or removed where we can do so. Public records held by Clark County, Nevada, or city custodians are outside our control; direct correction or confidentiality questions to the relevant custodian. Nevada NRS Chapter 239 governs public-record access, subject to confidentiality laws and the actual custodian’s procedure.
Policy Revisions
We may revise this policy when operations, services, or legal requirements change. A revised version will be posted here with its effective date. Continuing to use the service after publication means the updated policy applies to that use.
